Beneficiary

Each year a different local organization is selected as the beneficiary of the Onesie Beach Volleyball Tournament. We do this so we can spread the love and learn more about all of the great work that is being done around our community.

2023 Beneficiary

American Legion San Dieguito Post 416

Funds raised will support the Encinitas American Legion Youth Programs. 

Specific Programs supported: 

  • Funding of students to attend Boys and Girls State. Learn More > 
  • San Diego Unified School District Police Department Police Interaction with Youth (PIY) Program. Learn More > 
  • The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. Learn More > 

The American Legion has a proud tradition of supporting our nation’s youth. The organization was founded on the principle in 1919, when Children & Youth was declared one of the Legion’s four pillars. In the years since, a number of youth-oriented programs have been developed including Temporary Financial Assistance, Family Support Network and child safety and wellbeing programs.

I Stand With My Pack provides global assistance to save animals and prevent suffering and cruelty. ISWMP’s domestic efforts focus on the removal of dogs from California high risk kill shelters, assisting them through rehabilitation and successfully placing them in forever homes.
